CRIT

The work featured in this weeks crit was presented by Liam Beaney, Dara Cruz, Ines Bento and Tom Dawes. The pieces were varied in range, from big contemporary installations to intricate, detailed drawings in a small sketch book; even some modern fashion pieces were exhibited. I chose to feature this crit in my blog as I found it to be the most interesting because of the variations of work. I found the idea behind Liam Beaney's work to be the most interesting, while visually I enjoyed Tom Dawes sketches and paintings. Dara's book was also interesting because it was more personal, you were able to interact with the piece and hold the book she had been working on for months. These weekly sessions are good to show you what other people are doing and where you can maybe improve your own work or try new ideas.
